Ichi Ichi Kitchen
The newest bistro to hit town, Ichi Ichi is headed by Chef Jonas Stadtländer who has curated a creative yet focused farm-to-table menu comprising local produce like Roasted Rusutsu-Youtei Pork Loin & Toulouse Croquette with juniper berry pork jus, potato terrine & local vegetables for dinner; or a classic Hokkaido Wagyu Burger with Smoked Gouda served with a side of Kutchan crispy potato for lunch.
Pop in on Sundays for their brunch menu featuring perennial favorites like Eggs Benedict or pancakes with house bacon, Yoichi blueberry compote, yogurt cream & maple syrup, or swing by the bar for some light bites with a tipple. Vegetarian/Vegan, Gluten-Free options, a kid’s menu and takeaways are also available.
Kamimura
Owner-Chef Yuichi Kamimura honed his craft under the tutelage of the legendary Chef Tetsuya Wakuda in Sydney for a decade before returning home to Hokkaido to set up his eponymous French restaurant here since 2007 and still holds the distinction of being the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Niseko.
Expect a delightful dégustation of the most exquisite seasonal produce that Hokkaido has to offer, like the Shiretoko Poulet, perfectly executed with crispy seared skin and just lightly seasoned to allow its natural goodness and quality to shine through; the culinary philosophy to let the ingredients speak for themselves now shared by both master and disciple.
When Autumn eventually approaches, local mushrooms will start to take center stage in a umami-amplified consommé of champignons and a creamy rich risotto. Wine (and non-alcoholic beverage) pairing menus are available.
Service is impeccably run by wife Miyuki within a cosy warm ambience, ideal for a romantic evening or an intimate tête-à-tête.
Kamimura recently launched its new delivery service – Kamimura at Home – to bring some of their dishes to homes and guesthouses in Niseko through ready-made meal-kits for guests to easily prepare and enjoy within the comforts of their own accommodations, like Hokkaido Wagyu Boeuf Bourguignon – braised using Yoichi Zweigelt red wine – with Niseko Masuhara Farm “Danshaku” Potato Purée and finished with Maldon sea salt, or Niseko ‘Zeitaku’ Tomato and Hokkaido Bouillabaisse, a rich seafood stew comprising the best locally-sourced seasonal white fish, crustaceans and shellfish available. Order with their homemade potato focaccia & truffle butter to soak up every bit of the soup.

Next door, the sister “Kitchen” is their casual dining lounge with a more laidback living-room vibe offering an innovative sharing-style tapas menu to pair with a selection of cocktails and boutique wines.
Wind down the evenings with family and friends while watching the chefs at work in the open-concept kitchen as they churn out plates like Garlic King Prawns (à la Gambas al Ajillo), or if you’re feeling ravenous, tackle the Josper-grilled Hokkaido Wagyu Beef Sirloin.
Kitchen also just launched their new three-tier takeaway dinner box which is available only for pick-up (call to order in advance), comprising the following dishes:
- Duck Leg Confit, Fries Cooked in Duck Fat, Olive Sauce
- Celeriac Salad, Mimolette, Chorizo
- Grilled Prawn and Scallop with Dried Scallop & Truffle Cream, Warm Vegetables

Higashiyama Niseko Village, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Higashiyama Niseko Village is the newest luxury hotel in Niseko, marking its debut as Japan’s first Ritz-Carlton Reserve. The 50-room resort includes 2 restaurants and a lounge.
At Yukibana, start off the morning with a Shokado-style traditional Japanese breakfast presented in an elegant bento box with a kaleidoscope of dishes composed of vegetables and lightly grilled fish served with premium yumepirika rice. For dinner, fancy some fresh Hokkaido Hotate & Uni with cashew nut, shiso and yuzu gremolata, Tosaka seaweed, ume espuma and a sprinkling of nori dust.
If you are craving a kick of spice, the all-day Ume Lounge serves the quintessential Hokkaido dish, Soup Curry, featuring glistening slivers of the renowned Makkari Herb-Fed Pork and a medley of local vegetables in a curry broth.
Otherwise, leave it to the “Taisho” to take you on a gastronomic journey through the world of Edomae Sushi with an “Omakase” experience at Sushi Nagi, where only the best catch of the season is elegantly crafted and presented over the counter.

Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono
After an extended closure this winter, the Park Hyatt is finally re-open again!
China Kitchen is back with its Cantonese-Sichuan cuisine and their popular weekend Dim Sum brunch featuring Ikura Siew Mai, Black Truffle “Hargao” shrimp dumplings – while executing well the traditional classics like Makkari Pork Char Siew and authentic Hong Kong Wanton Noodles. End off on a sweet note with the oozing salted egg yolk custard bun “Liu Sha Bao”. The best part? It is all-you-can-eat!
Olivio offers Northern Italian cuisine with flair. Favorites include pastas like the Squid Ink Seafood Tagliolini and wood-fired pizzas like Quattro Formaggi and Prosciutto Funghi, with generous shavings of Parma Ham, mushrooms and rucola. Ideal for sharing with groups of friends and families.
Molière Montagne is the newest outpost of Sapporo’s 3-Michelin-Starred Molière, helmed by Hokkaido’s “Father” of French cuisine, Chef Hiroshi Nakamichi, who was deeply inspired by the dedication and passion of the farmers of nearby Makkari – a village also famous for its silky-smooth tofu and especially their vegetables, surely due to the best spring water flowing from Mount Yotei. This is most evident through his signature dessert Lily Bulb Mont Blanc where the natural sugars of Makkari’s humble lily bulb lent a light subtle sweetness to, and truly elevated the creaminess of the warm purée.

Hakusteak
HakuSteak just launched their to-go lunch menu – choose from a trio of sandwiches including their rendition of the Philly Cheesesteak featuring Shiraoi A4 Wagyu, triple cheese sauce, crispy onions and other condiments. A vegetarian one comprising an assortment of grilled vegetables and cashew hummus is also available.
Their new Spring Summer Dinner menu spotlights local produce with dishes like Kutchan Potato Carpaccio with house-made Hokkaido beef bresaola, their Signature Josper Shiraoi A4 Wagyu strip steak and Rishiri Uni Claypot Rice.
