Private Ski/Snowboard Lessons

Our private lessons cater to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability levels, from first-timers to experts.

Up to 4 people of similar age and ability level can enjoy lessons of 2 to 7 hours in duration.

How do i make a booking?

Bookings can be made online or in-person. We highly recommend to pre-book online as our lessons are in high demand and book out early.

Submit your booking request online via the booking portal below. Our reservations team will contact you to confirm your reservation details and make any changes as necessary. Feel free to include any special requests or questions in the booking enquiry.

In Person

Visit our Guest Services desk on the Ground Floor of Sansui Niseko.

How do i know what my ability level is?

Refer to the options listed below and simply let us know when booking your lesson. Please keep in mind that these are guidelines only and do not need to be exact. We are here to ensure your experience is tailored to your needs and preferences.

First Timer: Never skied /snowboard before
Beginner: Can stop, learning to turn
Intermediate: Turning comfortably on red/blue slopes
Advanced: Turning comfortably down black slopes

Where do I meet the instructor?

The instructor will meet you in the ski valet located on the Basement floor of Sansui Niseko.

Do the lesson rates include lift passes and equipment rental?

The rates do not include lift passes and equipment rental.

Lift Passes

Lift passes can be arranged through Sansui Niseko. There are either Full Mountain passes (Niseko United) or Half-Mountain passes (Hirafu-Hanazono). For first-time and beginner level guests, we recommend the Hirafu-Hanazono lift pass.

Equipment Rental

We can assist with organising ski equipment. Simply let us know when you are booking your lessons and we will be happy to help arrange your equipment rental.

Can we travel to other Niseko United resorts for our lesson?

Our Full Day lessons can also start in Annupuri and Hanazono in Niseko United. A shuttle service to/from Sansui Niseko is available and must be pre-arranged with the hotel. Please let us know during booking and we can assist with arranging this.

What is the cancellation policy?

1. 20% non-refundable deposit payment due within 5 days of booking to confirm reservation.

2. Balance payment due 30 days prior to the program start date for peak period bookings (or, if the booking is made less than 30 days prior to the program start date, immediately).

3. Balance payment due 14 days prior to the program start date for bookings outside of the peak period bookings (or, if the booking is made less than 14 days prior to the program start date, immediately).

4. Peak period is from 16 December 2023 to 7 January 2024, and 3 to 18 February 2024.

5. All payments are non-refundable.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing and be confirmed by Hokkaido Ski Club.

Can i change my booking once confirmed?

We will do our best to accommodate any requested changes to booking dates and times. However, if there is no availability, you may either proceed with the original booking or cancel the original booking, in which case the cancellation policy will apply.
